AN NSB FAVORITEAwesomeSauce
A recurring obsession. First place at Smoke in the Valley in 2015 and God Status at Brew w a View in 2016. Xtremely Awesome Double IPA takes the AwesomeSauce idea even further.

our beer is.
Inspired by life. Made with friends.
Simply beers we like to drink.

Our beers aren’t focused on any one style, and they don’t all fit nicely into little boxes. They’re simply beers we like to drink.
We take inspiration from life, art, music, movies, food, drinks, friends, and family. Core favorites, seasonal ideas, and experiments all have a place here. We follow our current thirst and never shy away from a challenge. No flavor, ABV, bitterness, or color is too big or too small to try.
Whoso would be a man, must be a nonconformist. He who would gather immortal palms must not be hindered by the name of goodness, but must explore it if it be goodness. Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind. Absolve you to yourself, and you shall have the suffrage of the world.
A few favorites from the NSB collection.
Past batches, returning ideas, and new inspiration.

FRIENDS. FAMILY. A SHARED PASSION FOR BEER.Nothing Sacred Brewing began in the summer of 2012 with a pot, a burner, and an extract kit. At its heart: lifelong friends and family who share a passion for beer.
Garret, Jesse, and Tim kept following that curiosity—from backyard batches to festival pours, bigger brew days, and cans to share. The equipment has changed. The reason we brew hasn’t.
Follow the story ↓A pot, a burner, an extract kit. A few batches later, brew in a bag opened the door to all-grain brewing.

A converted cooler mash tun and a 17-gallon kettle brought ten- and fifteen-gallon batches into the mix.

A 20-gallon SS Brewtech mash tun, two kettles, pumps, and temperature control marked a new chapter.

An Oktober seamer made it possible to put NSB beers in cans. Another way to share what we make.

A little history from the original NSB website.

This is not a misprint. Nothing Sacred Brewing’s beers are now in cans!
Thanks in large part to Atlantic Data Security (Tim’s job) and OktoberDesign for their efforts to make a canner affordable for the homebrewer.

A year of hardware upgrades, all in the name of improving the final product.
Our Plainville, Connecticut home brewery began with a pot, a burner, and an extract kit in 2012. Brew in a bag came next, followed by a homemade cooler mash tun. A dented 17-gallon kettle doubled the batch size, and a JaDeD King Cobra chiller helped speed up chilling.
The 2017 overhaul began with a Christmas present from Tim’s wife: a 20-gallon SS Brewtech InfuSsion Mash Tun. Two 20-gallon kettles followed, along with pumps, hoses, and valves from BrewHardware and upgraded Bayou Classic KAB6 burners.
Pump-driven transfers, temperature-controlled mashing, and whirlpooling gave the brewers more control and made bigger brew days easier.
